Ravage Me (Ravage MC Book 1)
By Ryan Michele
Blurb: After spending the last two years stuck behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit, Harlow ‘Princess’ Gavelson’s time inside has finally come to an end, and she’s ready for revenge. Unfortunately, being the daughter to the Vice President of the Ravage Motorcycle Club cuts into her plans, as orders must be followed. Trying to settle back into this life is proving difficult when the tables are turned and the woman who framed her is out for blood. Lucky for Princess, growing up in a MC has taught her how to hold her own.
After spending years in hell overseas, Donavon ‘Cruz’ came home to lose the very thing he went into hell for, sending him to the darkest moments of his life. Joining Ravage two years ago was his safe haven, and he protects his family at all costs.
When a dark-haired bombshell struts into the club’s shop, he’s caught off guard but immediately knows she’s the one he’d do anything for. Tough as nails, and taking no crap from anyone, he’s captivated by a woman who could handle this life. Trying to meet the needs of the MC business and follow his heart proves to be difficult when the two collide, and lives are at stake.
Can these two find a way to be together, or will the needs of Ravage cost them everything, including their lives?

What I liked about it? The Heroine, for once she was actually strong. One of my main pet peeves in these types of books is how the h is also portrayed as thinking she’s strong or a badass and then not showing in any way that she actually is. This is not the case with Harlow. She is raised in the life and lives the life. She understands how it works for the most part and accepts her role with minimal drama. She also knows how to ride a bike, shoot a gun and fight.
As for the Hero (or I guess in a way this could be considered anti-hero), Cruz I really loved him. He had the typical traits of most Alpha Biker Types that we have read about but at the same time had some differences that I found I really loved, in particular was the fact that he was not portrayed as a glorified “manwhore” (the standard for most of the MC’s in these books). He was a caveman when it came to getting/claiming and keeping Harlow but I have to say it didn’t bother me all that much.
I liked the side characters and would like to see a few of them get books of their own but at the same time the author really left it open to give us more of Harlow and Cruz. While Ravage Me could be considered a cliffhanger I didn’t get that feeling of “Why?” that I usually get from cliffhangers where you feel disappointed at having to wait so long for the next book. We get enough of a look at Harlow and Cruz to feel satisfied until the next book comes out.
I definitely recommend this book!

Blurb:Reaper’s Legacy is a raw and intensely erotic tale in Joanna Wylde’s Reapers Motorcycle Club series.
Eight years ago, Sophie gave her heart-and her virginity-to Zach Barrett on a night that couldn’t have been less romantic or more embarrassing. Zach’s step-brother, a steely-muscled, tattooed biker named Ruger, caught them in the act, getting a peep show of Sophie he’s never forgotten.
She may have lost her dignity that fateful night, but Sophie also gained something precious-her son Noah. Unfortunately, Zach’s a deadbeat dad, leaving Ruger to be Noah’s only male role model. When he discovers Sophie and his nephew living in near poverty, Ruger takes matters into his own hands-with the help of the Reapers Motorcycle Club-to give them a better life.
Living with outlaw bikers wasn’t Sophie’s plan for her son, but Ruger isn’t giving her a choice. He’ll be there for Noah, whether she wants him or not. But Sophie does want him, has always wanted him. Now she’ll learn that taking a biker to bed can get a girl dirty in every way.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars!
What I liked about it? Joanna Wylde writes a great Biker/MC book. Unlike so many that I have read lately Ms. Wylde gives us the perfect combination of romance, grit and plot. While her books may not be as dark as let’s say Madeline Sheehan’s Undeniable series the Reaper’s Motorcycle Club series is definitely not a light and fluffy read.

What I liked about it? This one was a surprise read for me. I enjoyed it a lot more that I originally thought I would. Well written, filled with drama, suspense and a hot romance between a female FBI agent and a sexy biker looking to get out of the life. It was different from other biker books I have read which was a welcome change.
I am definitely anxious for the second book and would definitely recommend Troubled Son!
Welcome To Sugartown
By Carmen Jenner
Ana Belle never wanted anything more than to hang up her apron, jump on her Vespa and ride off into the sunset, leaving Sugartown in the dust.
Elijah Cade never wanted anything more than a hot meal, a side of hot arse and a soft place to lay his head at night where he could forget about his past.
But you know what they say about wanting: you always want what you can’t have.
Nineteen year-old virgin Ana is about to discover that’s not quite true because a six foot three, hotter than hell, tattooed, Aussie sex god just rode into town. He’s had a taste of her pie and he wants more–no really, Ana bakes pies for a living, get your mind out of the gutter.
She’d be willing to hand over everything tied up in a big red bow, there’s just one problem; Elijah has secrets dirtier than last week’s underwear. Secrets that won’t just break Ana’s heart, but put her life at risk, too. When those secrets come to light, their relationship is pushed to breaking point.
Add to that a psychotic nympho best friend, an overbearing father, a cuter than humanly possible kid brother, a wanton womanizing cousin, the ex from hell, and more pies than you could poke a … err … stick … at.
And you thought small towns were boring.
Welcome to Sugartown.
*Content Warning. Intended for a mature 18+ audience. Contains explicit sex, oodles of profanity and a crap-tonne of AWKWARD.
How did I feel? Major Potential but missed the mark for me. While I enjoyed the story I had a very hard time liking the characters. The Hero Elijah I liked however the Heroine Ana I could not stand for most of the book. I found the characters immature and while a lot of the dialogue was humorous the actions of both Ana and her best friend Holly grated on my nerves a bit.
Having said that I did in fact read the second book in the series, Enjoy your stay. Enjoy your stay was the story of Holly and Ana’s cousin Jackson. This unfortunately was a DNF for me. While Holly annoyed me in the first book, I out right hated her in this story. I felt absolutely no connection to her character or Jackson’s character and the storyline just did nothing for me.
While I am sure many will enjoy Welcome to Sugartown I can not say I recommend Enjoy Your Stay.

Break Me is Kate Stone’s debut romantic thriller! This novel is dark, deliciously sexy, and meant for adults 18+
Another book that had potential. The main problem with this book for me were the editing issues. Between grammatical errors, the misuse of names and the fact that it jumped around so much at times I had trouble following I just couldn’t give this book more than 2 1/2 stars. I hope that the author takes the time to go back and revise the story because it has the ability to be a good read.
